Simple rules for using BuBird.
We have written these terms in plain English so you actually understand them. They cover how to use BuBird's image tools, QR Studio, games, and everything else on this platform fairly and responsibly.

1. Acceptance of these Terms
By visiting or using BuBird — including any of our image tools, QR Studio, browser games, learning pages, or any other feature on bubird.com — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the website. Using BuBird after any update to these terms means you accept the revised version.
2. What BuBird Is
BuBird is a free, browser-based platform built around tools that help people work with images, generate QR codes, play browser games, and more. Our core tools include the Image Compressor, Image Converter, Image Studio, Image Viewer, and QR Studio. We also offer free browser games like Sudoku World and Arrow Flow. BuBird is operated by BuBird Technologies. All current tools are free to use with no subscription required.
3. Image Tools — How They Work
BuBird's image tools — including the Image Compressor, Image Converter, Image Studio, and Image Viewer — run entirely inside your web browser using WebAssembly and modern browser APIs. This means your image files are processed on your own device. They are not sent to or stored on BuBird's servers. You are responsible for the images you choose to process and for how you use the outputs. Always keep a backup of original files before compressing, converting, cropping, resizing, or editing them.
4. Image Compressor
The Image Compressor reduces the file size of JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF images. Compression is lossy or near-lossless depending on the settings you choose. BuBird does not guarantee a specific output file size, visual quality level, or compatibility with every downstream use case. You should review compressed images before using them in print, medical imaging, legal documents, or any other context where quality accuracy matters.
5. Image Converter
The Image Converter supports conversion between dozens of image formats including JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG, PSD, PDF, RAW camera formats, and more. Conversion quality and compatibility may vary depending on the source format, target format, and the capabilities of your browser. Some format conversions involve trade-offs — for example, converting from a lossless format to a lossy one permanently reduces information. Always verify converted files before use in production environments.
6. Image Studio
Image Studio is a collection of image editing tools including resize, crop, rotate, flip, filters, brightness and contrast, color correction, text overlay, border addition, circle crop, watermarking, favicon generation, OG image creation, and more. These tools are provided for convenience. Outputs should be reviewed before use. BuBird is not responsible for errors in edited images that are published, printed, or distributed.
7. QR Studio
QR Studio lets you generate custom QR codes for URLs, WiFi networks, contact cards, email addresses, phone numbers, text messages, WhatsApp, location coordinates, and more. You are solely responsible for the content encoded in the QR codes you create. Do not create QR codes that link to malicious content, phishing pages, illegal material, or any content that would harm other people. BuBird does not review or monitor QR codes generated by users.
8. Games
BuBird offers free browser games including Sudoku World (with multiple difficulty levels and grid sizes) and Arrow Flow. These games are provided for entertainment and mental exercise. They require no account and save progress using your browser's local storage where supported. Game features, levels, and availability may change. BuBird does not guarantee that saved progress will persist across browser clears, device changes, or app updates.
9. Accuracy and Reliability of Outputs
BuBird tools are built to be accurate and reliable, but no automated browser-based tool is perfect. File conversions, compressions, edits, and QR code outputs should always be reviewed before being used in important, professional, or irreversible situations. BuBird tools are not a substitute for professional software, expert review, or certified tools in regulated industries such as healthcare, law, finance, or engineering.
10. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the files you process, the content you encode in QR codes, and the outputs you create using BuBird tools. You must have the rights to any image, document, or file you process using our tools. Do not use BuBird to process files that belong to others without permission. Do not use BuBird tools for any purpose that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or that violates someone else's rights.
11. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to misuse BuBird. Prohibited activities include: attempting to overload or disrupt BuBird's servers or infrastructure; scraping BuBird content or data at scale using automated tools; attempting to bypass security or access restrictions; using BuBird to process or distribute illegal, abusive, or harmful content; impersonating BuBird or its staff; using BuBird tools to facilitate fraud, spam, or phishing; and reverse-engineering any part of BuBird's platform for competitive or malicious purposes.
12. Intellectual Property
BuBird's name, logo, brand identity, website design, tool interfaces, game designs, written content, and software code are owned by BuBird Technologies and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, redistribute, or commercialize any part of BuBird's platform without explicit written permission. The images and files you process using BuBird tools remain your property — we do not claim any rights over your content.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
BuBird may include links to third-party websites, tools, or services such as the BuBird Job Finder (jobs.bubird.com). These third-party pages have their own terms and privacy policies. BuBird is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external websites. A link from BuBird to another website does not imply endorsement or approval of that website's content.
14. Accounts and Sign-In
Some BuBird features may require you to sign in using Google or another authentication provider. When you sign in, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. BuBird may suspend or terminate accounts that are involved in abuse, spam, misrepresentation, or violations of these terms.
15. Service Availability and Changes
BuBird is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime, uninterrupted access, or that every tool will work on every browser, device, or operating system version. We may add, change, pause, or remove tools and features at any time. Where possible, we will communicate major changes in advance, but we are not obligated to do so for minor updates or maintenance work.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
BuBird tools, games, and content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. This includes but is not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. BuBird does not warrant that the tools will be error-free, that outputs will be accurate in all cases, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BuBird and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BuBird tools, games, or content. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of files, corrupted outputs, or missed deadlines resulting from tool usage. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with BuBird is to stop using the service.
18. Changes to These Terms
BuBird may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date shown on this page. Continued use of BuBird after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you are aware of the current version.
19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to your use of BuBird shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.
