Yes. QR codes follow the ISO/IEC 18004 standard and work with the built-in camera app on any modern iPhone or Android -- no special scanner app needed.
PNG (best for screens and sharing), SVG (infinite-scale vector, best for print), JPG, and WebP. For posters or large-format printing, always use SVG.
Yes. Upload any PNG, SVG, or JPG from the Customize panel. It appears centered in the QR. We recommend setting error correction to High when using a logo.
Static QR codes never expire. The data is encoded directly into the pattern. As long as the image is legible, it works indefinitely -- no hosting or subscription required.
Low (L) 7%, Medium (M) 15%, Quarter (Q) 25%, High (H) 30% damage tolerance. Use H when adding a logo, since the logo covers part of the code.
Common causes: low contrast (dark on light works best), QR too small (minimum 2cm for print), logo too large, or printing on textured surfaces. Try removing the logo first.
For digital use, 512px is ideal. For print, use SVG or export at 1024-2048px. Minimum physical print size should be 2cm x 2cm for reliable scanning.
